Job Description :
As a Customer Associate at Dairy Queen in Miles City, you will be a crucial part of our team, providing outstanding customer service while helping to create the best possible experience for our guests. This role involves interacting with customers, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming restaurant environment. It’s a fast-paced position where you will gain valuable skills while serving delicious treats and meals.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers, take orders and answer questions about menu items.
Prepare and assemble food, including ice cream treats, hot foods, and beverages. Operate the cash register, process payments, and provide correct change. Familiarity with American currency and credit card transactions is required. If you have outstanding skills, you may assist customers at the drive-thru window with their orders.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms, including daily tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, washing dishes, and cleaning remaining store areas. Adhere to food safety and quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction. Assist with daily setup, preparation, and breakdown of machines. Work collaboratively with team members to provide efficient service and support. Flexibility and teamwork are essential, as additional tasks may be assigned by the manager. Excellent customer service is our top priority; we are dedicated to ensuring our customers receive the best service possible.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs (13 kg), and perform repetitive tasks. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Willingness to maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety standards.
Must be dependable, hard-working, friendly, and a very trustworthy and honest individual. Positions require attention to detail, punctuality, and a great service attitude & team spirit. Flexible to help in other positions as requested. Additional tasks as requested by management. You will be working all weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), all holidays, and evening shifts. If you call out sick or miss shifts, your employer is not required to schedule any additional shifts that week for you. You can not miss shifts due to any other jobs or online classes while working at your primary job. You may not work the same shifts as your friends. Nor will you have the same days off as your friends. No job, or hours at a job, can be 100% guaranteed. Regardless of what your work contract states, there is always a possibility that you will work more or fewer hours. Some days will be slower than others. Miles City is a small town, with activities such as trivia nights, street dances, sporting events, and clubs to join.

Transportation details: Participants can walk to work, or ride an employer-provided bike with a helmet and bike lock. Must learn the rules of the road riding a bike.
